Christmas decorating ideas

Christmas is almost here. Therefore, today I offer you some tips on how to give your house an awesome Christmas look. On this holiday my favorite thing is the decoration process. I think it sets the mood for this joyful time of the year. Therefore, enjoy Christmas décor!!!

First of all think about colors. Choose three colors for your holiday palette. Using too many colors can be too distracting.

Of course, the most popular and the most important element of this holiday is Christmas Tree . Start decorating your Christmas tree from the basics (hang the lights, string the garland and add pretty ornaments). Add some jingle bells to your tree to get the sounds of the season.

White Christmas tree always reminds about icy winter days. Those who prefer this kind of Christmas tree should know that decorating it with silver or golden garlands will make your house look very exquisite and elegant. But if you want a brighter Christmas tree then decorate it with colorful elements for example green globes, red, blue, purple etc. But don’t use dark decoration on white tree, especially black! It looks dramatically!

Christmas candles are always part of our celebration. They are inevitable part of Christmas décor. Candles provide warm atmosphere of peace quiet perfect to make unforgettable Christmas. Nothing makes a room feel warmer and more inviting than candlelight.

Don’t forget about scented candles near your entry and throughout your house.

Use the same style for your holiday decorating as your entire house. It will make your home “professionally finished”.

Decorating for Christmas don’t forget about some particular places like a mantel, doors and windows.

So the next post will be about windows décor for Christmas Day!

              Merry Christmas,

                        Doina!
